Friends Central forward Amile Jefferson will take an official visit to Duke on Saturday March 3 to see the Blue Devils play North Carolina. This will be the second time Jefferson has been to Durham, the first coming two years ago when the Philadelphia forward checked out Midnight Madness.

Jefferson, who just led FC to their fourth straight PAISAA championship, is one of the most coveted players in the country and one of the eight unsigned players that were featured in our Unsigned Stars series. A 6-foot-8 combo forwards, Jefferson has cut his list to five schools: Duke, NC State, Villanova, Kentucky, and Ohio State.

According to ESPN’s Dave Telep, Jefferson’s father said that this will likely be Jefferson’s final visit.

“He hasn’t moved from where he was,” Malcolm Musgrove, Jefferson’s father said. “He finished up his season on Saturday. Our plan is to sit down this weekend and work some things out. He’s going to take a visit to Duke next week. I think after that after that he’ll be able to wrap it up.”

Jefferson was also named a McDonalds All-American this season.
