As the rivalry season of college basketball continues, top players are taking their official visits to schools to check out rivalry match ups. What these games provide is an opportunity to see what playing for that school will be like when the pressure is at its highest.
Kansas will play host to Missouri on Saturday in a rematch of one of the best college basketball games we have seen in years. Kansas will be looking for revenge over the Tigers who rallied late to knock Kansas off a few weeks ago.
Also visiting Kansas will be a slew of top rated recruits. We mentioned earlier this week that Jakarr Sampson will be in the building to check out the game. In addition to Sampson will be top-rated recruit Shabazz Muhammad of Bishop Gorman, and Tony Parker of Miller Grove.
And those are just the seniors.
Junior targets Semi Ojeleye and Clay Custer are expected to be in the building as well. Juniors Brannen Greene and Connor Frankamp have already committed to the Jayhawks and will likely be working their fellow prospects on behalf of Bill Self and his staff.
Current and former NBA players will also be in attendance to help sway the young man. Marcus (Houston Rockets) and Markeiff (Phoenix Suns) Morris, Xavier Henry (New Orleans Hornets), and Raef Lafrentz are expected to be in attendance.
