Brewster forward Jakarr Sampson will take another official visit this weekend according to coach Jason Smith’s twitter.
Smith also added via twitter that the first phone call he received following their 87-84 win over Bridgton Academy was from Providence coach Ed Cooley. Cooley has been a mainstay at most of Sampson’s games this season.
Sampson was strong again in their win over Bridgton, scoring 20 points and adding 9 rebounds to put an exclamation point on what has been an extremely good post-graduate season for him. The NEPSAC Tournament will start next Wednesday with Brewster expected to be the top team in AAA.
Sampson has averaged 17.4 points per game over their last 10 games.
